A young gentleman I know all too well was laying in his bed with his eyes closed, but he was not yet asleep. I have watched over him everywhere he’s gone since time out of his memory. I stood at the foot of his bed the whole time, but I made sure he did not see me. His mouth was moving and sound was barely leaving it. His blue eyes were red from lack of sleep and crying earlier in the night. His lips trembled with his hope falling and quietly despairing. His heart was in what he spoke, which is how it has always been. His voice was soft, but his words still carried the strength that will keep. And the last words I heard him say before he fell asleep were: "May my Faith in myself and my fellow Man return to me on Christmas Day." ~~~ ~~~ ~~~ ~~~ ~~~ ~~~ ~~~ The Night will come where he won't sleep, and be so excited over his favorite holiday and sparkling snow that just qualifies for “deep.“ The Patron Spirit for Children young and old will pass through and leave him the answer to the young man's wishes. His parents know, his Sister knows, and his Best Friends all know what Christmas does for him and will do for him. And I say the Light illumine him for all that he does to earn those Blessings of True Peace, Love, and Happiness. And the last words I heard him say before he entered the World of Dreams were: "May my Faith in myself and my fellow Man return to me on Christmas Day." ~~~ ~~~ ~~~ ~~~ ~~~ ~~~ ~~~ And the last words I heard him say were all my Hopes for him, for that Day... Faith in yourself will again be yours, my Love, on Christmas Day. Faith in your fellow Man will again be yours, my son, on Christmas Day. Redeem your Soul and Spirit for the year to come, my Friend, on Christmas Day. Your heart is saved and whole again, my child, this Christmas Day. Your mind can be at ease; clear from the dark that was: it's Christmas Day! By the Graces of the Creator and the Light of the World: you are reborn through Christmas Day! |
